Gallery Rozenstraat A rose is a rose is a rose
Amsterdam, 2025
Back to the Loop starts as a research into the etymology of the word 'looping'. This research became a set of exercises, reflecting the essence of looping through the physical act of writing and the visual form of letters. The word looping is embodied and researched in a playful way, and resulted into 'looping type fonts'.
Visitors of the exhibition are invited to follow an instruction manual and perform the excersises in the exhibition space, in between audience, art works and artists.
The residues of the exhibitions where made into a publication: The Looping Book.
Thanks to Gallerij Rozenstraat, all participants, Chloé Gourvennec, Stella Oort, BBBookbinding, Anne Boon
